Russian attack on 2 buses in Kramatorsk kills 30
Police said the buses were hit by glide bombs, while three more people were killed in shelling in a village near the city.
Two buses were hit by a Russian attack in Kramatorsk, a frontline city in Ukraine's Donbas region, on Oct. 8, killing 30 people in one of the deadliest single strikes in recent weeks. Ukrainian police said the buses were struck by glide bombs. Emergency services also reported that three people were killed in shelling in a nearby village. President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of deliberately targeting civilians and vowed the attack would not go unanswered. Donetsk Governor Vadym Filashkin said there was no military target at the site. The attack came a day after a Russian missile brought down a five-story apartment block in Pryluky, in the Chernihiv region, killing 22 people, including five children.
