Ruben Onsu scheduled to be questioned as suspect next week
Police are preparing a summons after suspect status was set in a report over an investment of funds filed in August 2025.
The South Jakarta Metro Police have scheduled Ruben Onsu to be questioned as a suspect in an alleged fraud and embezzlement case next week. South Jakarta Metro Police public relations chief Joko Adi Wibowo did not detail the date of the questioning or whether a summons had already been sent. Police said suspect status was set after a case review by the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The case moved to the investigation stage on 25 April 2026, and investigators have questioned more than six witnesses, including experts. The case stemmed from police report LP310/VIII/2025/SPKT/Polres Jakarta Selatan dated 22 August 2025. In the report, Ruben was said to have offered the victim an investment of funds with a promise of profit, but when it matured the profit had not been received and the principal had also not been returned. Ruben's side had not commented.
