Ruben Onsu named suspect in alleged investment fraud case

The South Jakarta Metro Police have named Ruben Onsu a suspect in an alleged case of fraud and embezzlement involving investment funds. The case stemmed from a report filed in August 2025, after the victim was said to have handed money to a business offered by Ruben with a promise of profit. When the agreed time arrived, the profit was not paid and the victim's principal was also not returned. Police said the victim suffered losses of Rp3,5 miliar. Investigators from the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit have elevated the case to the investigation stage, questioned several witnesses and then named Ruben a suspect through a case review. Police are now preparing a summons to question Ruben in his capacity as a suspect.
