Elon Musk ordered limits on the speed of a SpaceX satellite service used by Ukraine’s military, a move that left some drones unable to operate, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing U.S. officials and people familiar with the matter. CNBC said the speed cap affected Ukrainian hardware connected to the Starlink network. The report said Musk discussed the move with President Donald Trump and other senior administration officials, while Trump later said he did not know who ordered the interruption. Ukrainian officials had publicly complained that the limits weakened defenses against Russian attacks, prompting an informal White House investigation.
