PTK targets 2026 profit to stay above Rp1 trillion
The target is supported by cost efficiency, budget reserves and expansion of ship services beyond Pertamina Group.
PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) is targeting net profit in 2026 to remain above Rp1 trillion despite pressure from rupiah exchange-rate swings and global oil prices. PTK Acting President Director Eko Cahyadi said the projection is based on the company’s performance through the first half of 2026. In 2025, the subsidiary of PT Pertamina International Shipping booked net profit of Rp1.32 trillion, up 23 percent from Rp1.07 trillion a year earlier.
To maintain profitability, PTK is relying on higher revenue from all business lines and tighter operating costs. The company is also applying budget reserve to items that can still be trimmed without disrupting operations. PTK operated 370 vessels in 2025 and will continue strengthening its core business, digital transformation, technology innovation and ship agency services, including for markets outside Pertamina Group.
