France will face England in the third-place playoff at the 2026 World Cup at Miami Stadium, United States, on Sunday (19/7) at 04.00 WIB. Both teams missed out on the final after losing in the semifinals. France fell 0-2 to Spain at Dallas Stadium on goals from a Mikel Oyarzabal penalty and Pedro Porro. England were then knocked out by Argentina 1-2 in Atlanta after taking the lead through Anthony Gordon before Enzo Fernandez equalized and Lautaro Martinez headed in a stoppage-time winner from a Lionel Messi cross. Beyond the bronze medal, the match also gives Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham one last chance in the tournament to climb the scoring chart.
