Pramono forms investigation team after SDN Kebayoran Lama 09 damage
DKI has set aside Rp48,1 miliar to rebuild the school this year and will inspect other damaged schools not yet recorded.
DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung formed an investigation and inventory team after inspecting severe damage at SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 Pagi, Jakarta Selatan, on Friday (24/7). The team was ordered to trace the cause of the building damage and catalog other schools that may have similar problems. Pramono said oversight would no longer rest only with the Dinas Pendidikan, but would also involve Dinas Cipta Karya, Tata Ruang, dan Pertanahan and Dinas Bina Marga. He said there appeared to be a problem with the school building frame, which was allegedly not properly prepared during rehabilitation in 2011. The DKI provincial government has also allocated Rp48,1 miliar to rebuild the school this year, part of 11 priority schools to be repaired.
