Prabowo welcomes Singapore PM in Jakarta, 26 MoUs prepared
The second Prabowo-Lawrence Wong Leaders’ Retreat was held at Istana Merdeka with economic, energy, defense and foreign affairs delegations.
President Prabowo Subianto received Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at Istana Merdeka in Jakarta on Monday during the annual Indonesia-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat. Wong arrived at about 11.00 WIB and was greeted by Prabowo before the two held a closed-door meeting and a lunch with their delegations. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the meeting was the second annual session for the two leaders and would be followed by the signing of 26 memorandums of understanding. The Indonesian side included Airlangga Hartarto, Rosan Roeslani, Bahlil Lahadalia, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Prasetyo Hadi and Sugiono. Wong was accompanied by Gan Kim Yong, Chan Chun Sing, Vivian Balakrishnan, Masagos Zulkifli and Tan See Leng.
