Prabowo holds meeting in Hambalang to review 2026 hajj
Komisi VIII, the hajj oversight team and Kementerian Haji brought 20 evaluation points to guide improvements for the next hajj season.
President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (17/6), with the agenda of reviewing the 2026 hajj. The meeting was attended by representatives of Kementerian Haji, Komisi VIII DPR RI and the hajj oversight team. State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the meeting fulfilled the request of the parties, who wanted to report the results of this year’s hajj administration directly to the president. Deputy Minister of Hajj Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak said the evaluation material brought to the meeting contained 20 points. The set of notes will form the basis for discussions on improving hajj services and administration in the following season.
