PPATK denies requesting freeze of AMPB coordinator's account at Bank Mandiri
About Rp80,9 juta in Supriyono's account was used for logistics for the Pati residents' protest outside the DPR on 21 August.
PPATK denied that it requested the freezing of the Bank Mandiri account belonging to Supriyono, also known as Botok, coordinator of Aliansi Masyarakat Pati Bersatu (AMPB). PPATK head Ivan Yustiavandana said the agency did not order the account suspension. Earlier, Bank Mandiri apologized and said the freeze was carried out at the request of law enforcement, without naming the institution, the criminal case behind it, or whether there was a court order. The account was frozen while Supriyono accompanied Pati residents in a protest outside the DPR Building in Jakarta on Friday, 21 August 2026. The account contained about Rp80,9 juta, made up of personal funds and donations from residents for food, transportation and lodging for the protesters.
