Porprov Jateng pencak silat athlete dies after finger surgery
RS Primaya says the cause of Ayudiah Rivana Tridiandinata’s death remains unclear, even though the procedure was carried out properly.
Kota Semarang pencak silat athlete Ayudiah Rivana Tridiandinata died while being treated at RS Primaya Semarang after fracturing her middle finger during competition at Porprov Jawa Tengah 2026. Ayudiah, 19 years old, competed in the A 45-50 kilogram class. The injury occurred on Monday (26/10) at the pencak silat arena at Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, after which she was referred to the hospital and underwent surgery on Tuesday (27/10). RS Primaya Semarang Director Aditya Nugraha said Ayudiah was found unconscious, not breathing, and without a pulse at around 05.30 WIB on Wednesday morning. The hospital said the exact cause of death is still unknown. KONI Jawa Tengah confirmed the death.
