Police search Cipete shophouse again in 3 BUMN TPPU case
The follow-up search targeted Jalan Asem 2 after a joint team inspected 12 sites in Jakarta, South Tangerang and Bogor.
A joint team from Kortastipidkor Polri and Polda Metro Jaya again searched a shophouse on Jalan Asem 2, Cipete Selatan, South Jakarta, on Friday in an investigation into alleged corruption and money laundering tied to PT PLN (Persero), PT Asabri (Persero), and Krakatau Steel. The search followed an operation on Wednesday that covered a total of 12 locations in Jakarta and surrounding areas. By Wednesday night, the team had completed searches at Kafe de’Clan Signature and Koin Money Changer in Cipete, while other sites included the offices of PT CBS and PT KNI, an apartment at Pacific Place, a house in Mega Kuningan, South Tangerang, and Sentul, Bogor. In the earlier searches, police seized documents and foreign currency from a safe hidden behind a cabinet.
