Pokemon World Championships heads to Singapore on Aug. 13-15, 2027
What's new: It will be Singapore's first time hosting the event and only the fourth edition staged outside the United States.
The Pokemon World Championships will be held in Singapore from Aug. 13 to 15, 2027, with the main tournament at Singapore Expo and Championship Sunday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The 2027 edition was revealed during the closing ceremony of the 2026 championships in San Francisco. The annual event brings together top competitors in the Pokemon Trading Card Game, the Video Game Championships and Pokemon Go. It will be the tournament's first stop in Singapore, its first return to Asia since Yokohama in 2023, and the fourth time the championships have been hosted outside the United States. Ticketing and other event details have not yet been released.
