South Jakarta District Court begins ruling on Febrie pretrial bid
The ruling will be read over two days, August 27-28, for two pretrial requests involving different legal issues.
The South Jakarta District Court began reading out the ruling on the pretrial petition filed by former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah on Thursday afternoon. Sole judge Richard Edwin Basoeki scheduled the ruling reading for August 27, while PN Jaksel also said the agenda would continue on August 28 at 16.00 WIB for another petition. Febrie filed two separate pretrial motions. The first challenges his designation as a suspect in alleged TPPU by the Kejaksaan Agung as well as his detention. The second contests the suspect designation, search, and seizure carried out by Polda Metro Jaya and Kortastipidkor Polri in a corruption and TPPU case related to the handling of PT Asabri and PT Jiwasraya cases.
