PLN restores Gandul-Cirendeu outage, normal by 07:00
The outage began at 04.59 WIB, recovery started at 05.14 WIB, and the cause is still under investigation.
PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi Jakarta Raya restored a power supply disruption from Gardu Induk Gandul toward Cirendeu that briefly cut electricity in parts of South Jakarta and South Tangerang on Monday morning, Aug. 3, 2026. According to Senior Manager Komunikasi dan Umum PLN UID Jakarta Raya Haris Andika, the disruption began at 04.59 WIB. After a technical safety check, crews began restoration at 05.14 WIB, and power to all customers returned gradually until 07.00 WIB. Residents in Ciputat and Pamulang reported blackouts lasting about two hours. PLN apologized for the disruption and asked customers still experiencing problems to report them through PLN Mobile or Contact Center 123.
