PLN prepares five layers of power security for Istana for 81st RI

PT PLN (Persero) is preparing five layers of power security at Istana Negara to support the ceremony marking the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's independence. PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said the safeguards cover generation, substations, transmission and feeders to keep supply reliable throughout the state events. In addition to the main grid, PLN is preparing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units and backup generators in case of disruptions. All equipment has been thoroughly checked, while generation, transmission, substation and distribution teams remain on full alert. The readiness is part of power security preparations for the Aug. 17 commemoration at the Istana Negara complex.
