PKB replaces daily chairman, names Gus Najmi for Ais Shafiyah Asfar

PKB has replaced the DPP daily chairman by appointing Najmi Mumtaza Rabbany, or Gus Najmi, to succeed Ais Shafiyah Asfar. PKB DPP Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar conveyed the appointment during a Party Management Coordination and Consolidation Meeting attended by the PKB DPP leadership and all PKB regional chairmen from across Indonesia on Wednesday (10/6) night. The daily chairman post was created in PKB's DPP structure in 2024 to carry out responsibilities and implement daily programs on behalf of the party chairman. Gus Najmi said the next focus is strengthening the party structure from the DPW, DPC, and DPAC levels down to grassroots cadres, while also advancing leadership regeneration, expanding the support base, and increasing youth involvement ahead of the 2029 election.
