Pertamina Patra Niaga screens 101 sailor candidates in 5 cities
Selection runs through late June, with 23 scholarship recipients to be announced on 30 June and inaugurated on 3 July.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga screened 101 sailor candidates in Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar on 9-11 June 2026 to support the national energy distribution system. The selection is part of the Candidate Sailor Scholarship Program and includes an English test based on TOEIC, a psychometric test, and general academic and technical aptitude tests. Participants came from several vocational and maritime campuses, including Politeknik Negeri Semarang, Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya, Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada, PIP Semarang, Poltekpel Surabaya, and STIP Jakarta. The program continues the Crewing Talent Scouting 2025 Scholarship, which produced 20 young sailors, with a target this year of recruiting 23 talents from seven partner universities.
