Pertamina accepts 539 interns from 94,176 applicants

PT Pertamina (Persero) accepted 539 participants into the Internship Pertamina 2026 program after screening 94,176 applicants. The participants began joining the Pertamina Group environment on Monday, August 10, 2026, marked by the signing of internship work contracts. The program runs for one year and was opened through Pertamina Talent Candidate. VP Talent Development & Recruitment Pertamina Muhammad Aryomekka Firdaus said the number of applicants jumped to three times last year’s level. Pertamina said the program is designed to give young people work experience while also opening a pathway into the job market. One participant, Putri Astrian, said the selection process through acceptance took about one month.
