Persija Jakarta closed out Piala Presiden 2026 in third place after beating Arema FC 3-1 in the third-place playoff at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, on Thursday (6/8). Persija struck early through Witan Sulaeman in the seventh minute before Arema equalized through Salim Tuharea in the 28th minute.
