Persib travel to Melbourne without 2 players, need 1 point
Luciano Guaycochea and Gabriel Mutombo will miss the match, while the AAMI Park game is set for Wednesday at 14.45 WIB.
Persib Bandung face a key away match against Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park in Melbourne on Wednesday (4/11) at 14.45 WIB, with a chance to secure a place in the round of 16 of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Two. The Bandung club leads Group E with nine points from three matches and needs just one more point to clinch qualification. But Persib will not be at full strength. Coach Igor Tolic confirmed Luciano Guaycochea and Gabriel Mutombo will be out, while the condition of several other players is still being monitored ahead of kickoff. A week ago, Persib beat Melbourne Victory 2-0 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. Tolic said the away match will be harder, but he remains optimistic his team can match the hosts if it stays focused for the full 90 minutes.
