The Metro Jaya Police Narcotics Directorate arrested RRM, 24, in Cipayung, East Jakarta, after uncovering a method of marketing methamphetamine and synthetic tobacco by pasting “Sedot WC” ad stickers on poles and trees along the road. The arrest was made Sunday night at about 22:00 WIB after police received a resident's report and monitored the area. A preliminary search found methamphetamine in a black plastic bag. A further search of the suspect's rental room produced 102.45 grams of methamphetamine, 17 plastic straws containing methamphetamine, about 15 grams of synthetic tobacco, six bottles of synthetic liquid or starter material, two digital scales, two cellphones, and empty clip plastic bags. Police took the suspect and evidence to the Metro Jaya Police Narcotics Directorate for questioning and to develop the network.
