Pindar financing to UMKM rises 23.25% to Rp35.12 trillion

UMKM financing made up 33.41% of total pindar lending of Rp105.14 trillion, while the TWP90 ratio stood at 4.26%.

Otoritas Jasa Keuangan recorded that financing by the online lending industry, or pindar, to UMKM grew 23.25% year on year through June 2026 to Rp35.12 trillion. That amount was equivalent to 33.41% of total pindar financing, which reached Rp105.14 trillion. In the same period, the aggregate nonperforming credit risk ratio, or TWP90, stood at 4.26%. At the Fintech Lending Days event in Bali, PVML OJK Executive Supervisor Agusman said pindar is becoming increasingly important as an alternative funding source for UMKM. Mukhamad Misbakhun, chairman of Commission XI of the DPR RI, also said the industry needs regulatory space, a legal foundation and a supporting ecosystem to keep expanding productive financing. AFPI Chairman Entjik S. Djafar added that industry growth must remain healthy, responsible and sustainable.
