Pelindo backs integration of 3 toll roads to Tanjung Priok

The plan aims to eliminate repeated toll transactions for logistics trucks, cutting travel time and distribution costs.

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) supports plans to integrate three toll road sections leading to Tanjung Priok Port to smooth goods distribution and reduce national logistics costs. The backing was conveyed during a public consultation on the draft Ministry of Public Works regulation on toll road integration guidelines, held by the Directorate General of Highways and the Toll Road Regulatory Agency on 14 August in Jakarta. The sections included in the scheme are the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road/Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Elevated Road, and the Tanjung Priok Access Toll Road. According to Pelindo, integration is needed because logistics vehicles still pass through separate toll sections with repeated transactions that make travel time and transport costs inefficient.
