Paul Pelosi, 86, charged in Napa misdemeanor hit-and-run
What's new: Prosecutors also cited an unsafe turning movement after a July 3 crash involving a parked Tesla.
Paul Pelosi, the husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was charged Friday in Napa County with misdemeanor hit-and-run tied to a July 3 crash in California wine country. The Napa County District Attorney's Office also filed an infraction alleging an unsafe turning movement. A criminal complaint says Pelosi, 86, struck a parked Tesla, caused property damage and left without trying to identify the owner or provide the information required by state law. Deputies found him about a half-mile away. The complaint says Pelosi told officers he intended to return to the scene.
