PAM Jaya distributes 500 free water tanks in Central Jakarta
The 2026 total has reached 1,500 units, with 3,500 more tanks scheduled for distribution across DKI.
PAM Jaya, together with TP PKK Provinsi DKI Jakarta, distributed 500 free water tanks to residents in several kelurahan in Central Jakarta to help households store backup water while distribution pressure remains unstable. The program is prioritized for customers living in homes with a building area of no more than 70 square meters and in low-pressure water areas, especially from morning to midday. Menteng received 170 tanks, the most among recipients in Karang Anyar, Kartini, Duri Pulo, Kampung Bali, Tanah Tinggi, Kemayoran, and Kebon Kosong. According to PAM Jaya President Director Arief Nasrudin, the distribution is part of a target of 5,000 free tanks throughout 2026. As of 13 July 2026, a total of 1,500 tanks had been distributed.
