One-stop scholarship portal targeted for limited launch in September
The platform will pool scholarship listings from government, foreign and private sources to close information gaps.
Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie is targeting a limited launch in September 2026 for a one-stop scholarship information portal. She said the platform is still under development. The portal is designed to gather scholarship information in one place, including programs from the Indonesian government, foreign governments, and private parties. According to Stella, the move is intended to address information distribution barriers that leave many scholarship opportunities unknown to the public. After attending the 2026 China-Indonesia Think Tank and Media Forum in Jakarta on Wednesday, she also pointed to the large number of scholarship opportunities from China and said she hopes more Indonesian students will pursue studies abroad, including in China.
