The proposed replacement for Febrie Adriansyah has cleared the final review team and is now awaiting the president’s signature.
The process to appoint a new Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes has entered its final stage, with a presidential decree targeted for completion within days. State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the proposal to replace Febrie Adriansyah has been processed through the Final Assessment Team after Attorney General ST Burhanuddin sent a letter to President Prabowo Subianto. The Palace has not disclosed the official who will be chosen. Prasetyo did confirm that Kuntadi, head of the Asset Recovery Agency at the Attorney General’s Office, was among the names in the proposal letter. The Jampidsus post has been vacant since Febrie resigned, and the replacement will be set by presidential decree after the final process at the Palace is completed.
