Netanyahu and Zelenskyy head to Washington for Trump talks

What's next: Trump is set to discuss Iran, Ukraine peace proposals, Lebanon and the Abraham Accords in separate meetings.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are traveling to Washington for Sen. Lindsey Graham's funeral and separate meetings with President Donald Trump. Netanyahu arrived Monday at Trump's invitation, and a White House official confirmed Zelenskyy will also attend. The talks put two wars on Trump's agenda at once. Zelenskyy is expected to press Ukraine's case as U.S. and Ukrainian officials discuss new proposals to end Russia's war, which began with Moscow's full-scale invasion in 2022. Netanyahu is expected to focus on Iran, with fighting currently paused, as well as a framework involving Israel and Lebanon and possible expansion of the Abraham Accords.
