Naturalization of Mitchell Baker and Luke Vickery Awaits DPR Letter

PSSI chairman Erick Thohir said the naturalization process for Mitchell Baker and Luke Vickery to strengthen the Indonesia national team is still waiting for an official letter from DPR leaders to the government. After that, the two can move to the next stage of approval and take the oath as Indonesian citizens. Erick said the ratification at a DPR plenary meeting is expected on Monday or Tuesday, after which the files will be forwarded to President Prabowo Subianto. Baker is a forward who plays for Vermont Green FC, while Vickery is a winger for Macarthur FC. Erick said Prabowo supports efforts to strengthen national football, including the naturalization process for players of Indonesian descent.
