MIND ID links OpenMIND to KPK to monitor mining business
The link could help detect and act on corruption allegations in the state-owned mining group more quickly through a connected channel.
MIND ID is integrating its internal complaint system OpenMIND with KPK's system for handling alleged corruption reports to strengthen oversight in the mining sector. The cooperation is set out in an agreement between PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) and KPK RI to speed the identification of potential irregularities and reinforce internal controls across all group entities. In addition to linking the complaint channels, KPK will also provide assistance in drafting internal rules, strengthening the complaint-handling program, coordination, and information sharing under strict confidentiality standards. The move is tied to support for downstream mineral processing, the electric vehicle ecosystem, operational efficiency, and national energy supply at ANTAM, Bukit Asam, Freeport Indonesia, Inalum, Timah, and Vale Indonesia.
