Meta brings Muse AI agent to Singapore with shopping, travel links
What's new: The app is free with weekly limits, paid plans run S$22 to S$139, and connectors will expand across Grab, Shopee and Singapore Airlines.
Meta launched its consumer AI agent Muse in Singapore, letting users book restaurants, compare prices, manage emails and plan trips through connected apps. Available on iOS, Android and the web, Muse can tap services including Gmail, Instagram and Google Calendar after users grant access, and asks for approval before sensitive actions such as purchases or sending email. Early Singapore partners include Agoda, Grab, Klook, Lazada, ShopBack, Shopee, Singapore Airlines and Trip.com, with features rolling out progressively. Meta said the service is free for most uses, while paid tiers cost S$22 to S$139. Local testing by media outlets found Muse could handle some tasks autonomously, but it also made mistakes such as failing to cancel a reservation and pointing users to a restaurant that had closed.
