Mendagri reviews BSPS in Bandung, 17 homes get Rp340 million

Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian and Minister of Housing and Settlements Maruarar Sirait reviewed the implementation of Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya (BSPS) in Desa Cilampeni, Kecamatan Ketapang, Kabupaten Bandung, West Java, on Saturday (25/7/2026). During the visit, DPR RI member Rajiv Singh added Rp340 million in private assistance for 17 beneficiary homes, or Rp20 million each. Tito also observed a simulation of Pemilihan Toko Terbuka (PTT), a mechanism for buying building materials that displays the type of goods and prices openly so residents can get lower prices. Tito said any remaining funds from the process can be returned to residents to decide how to use them. He also referred to waiving fees for Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung and BPHTB for low-income communities.
