Megawati meets Gerakan Nurani Bangsa in Menteng

PDI Perjuangan Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri received figures from Gerakan Nurani Bangsa at the Megawati Institute office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday to discuss national, social and government issues. The roughly two-hour meeting was attended by Ignatius Kardinal Suharyo, Franz Magnis-Suseno, Sinta Nuriyah, Inayah Wahid, Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, Laode M. Syarif, Karlina R. Supelli, Hilmar Farid and Yanuar Nugroho. Lukman said the agenda was part of GNB's series of visits to national figures after earlier meetings with Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Jusuf Kalla and Ma’ruf Amin. According to Tempo, Laode said one topic discussed was the Police Law revision approved by the DPR on 9 June 2026 and considered to have involved minimal public consultation.
