MedcoEnergi signs 3 gas deals, locks in domestic supply to 2037
The Sakakemang contract covers 89 TBTU for 2027-2037, while a South Sumatera amendment lifts volume to 16.5 TBTU.
MedcoEnergi and its KKKS partners signed two Gas Sale and Purchase Agreements and one contract amendment to meet domestic gas demand. The deals were signed on the sidelines of FOREK Hulu Migas 2026 in Jakarta on Wednesday and cover the Sakakemang, South Sumatera and Senoro-Toili working areas. For Sakakemang in Sumatera Selatan, Medco E&P Sakakemang B.V. signed a contract with PGN worth 89 TBTU, including the state's share of gas, for the 2027-2037 period. In South Sumatera, the third amendment to the PJBG adds 6.8 TBTU, bringing total contract volume to 16.5 TBTU. Separately, supply from Senoro-Toili was agreed by Pertamina Hulu Energi Tomori Sulawesi, Medco E&P Tomori and Tomori E&P Limited with Panca Amara Utama, with an estimated volume of 205.59 BSCF.
