Manchester United need a win against Tottenham at Old Trafford
As a result, Saturday night’s match could be an early turning point for two teams that have both stumbled.
Manchester United face a must-win match when they host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday night WIB amid an unconvincing start to the season for both teams. Michael Carrick is under scrutiny after United have managed only one win in five league games, while Tottenham arrive under similar pressure because they are still winless. The international break gave United time to sharpen their play before a tougher run of fixtures through October. Carrick said Tottenham remain dangerous and cannot be taken lightly even though both sides have struggled. The match is important not only for three points, but also to lift confidence and improve the direction of both clubs’ seasons.
