MAKI urges KPK to detain 2 suspects in BI-OJK CSR graft
Nearly a year after they were named suspects in August 2025, Satori and Heri Gunawan remain free despite an active probe since 2024.
Masyarakat Antikorupsi Indonesia is urging the Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi to immediately detain two suspects in the alleged corruption case involving Bank Indonesia and Otoritas Jasa Keuangan CSR funds, Satori and Heri Gunawan. MAKI coordinator Boyamin Saiman said detention is needed to provide legal certainty, since both have been suspects since 7 August 2025. The case concerns alleged irregularities in the distribution of BI and OJK social responsibility funds, including the Program Sosial Bank Indonesia and Penyuluh Jasa Keuangan in 2020-2023. The case began with an analysis by PPATK and public complaints. KPK opened a general investigation in December 2024, then searched the Bank Indonesia building on 16 December 2024 and the OJK office on 19 December 2024.
