The government will open batch 4 of the National Internship Program in July 2026, with a target of reaching 150,000 participants. This round expands the program not only by increasing the number of participants, but also by extending its reach beyond Java. More sectors will be involved, including private industry. The remarks were delivered by Plt Bidang Kemitraan dan Hubungan Media Bakom RI, Kurnia Ramadhana, on Wednesday, 24 June. With broader geographic coverage and more partners, the program is aimed at opening greater access to internships for participants in various regions and widening choices for workplace learning beyond the institutions that have dominated so far.
