Love, Bonito breach may have exposed customer and card data
What's new: Singapore's data watchdog is investigating, and the retailer said full credit card numbers were not compromised.
Love, Bonito told customers that a website security flaw may have exposed personal data and partial payment details after unauthorized access on July 26. The Singapore fashion retailer said the vulnerability was fixed the same day. Potentially affected information includes names, birth dates, email and shipping addresses, phone numbers, order history, and, for some shoppers, card type, the last four digits of a card and its expiry date. Chief executive Dione Song said affected customers in Singapore have been notified. The Personal Data Protection Commission is investigating, and the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore said it has offered assistance.
