Leo/Daniel beat Malaysian pair to win Taipei Open 2026
The BWF Super 300 title ensured Indonesia did not leave empty-handed, after only the men's doubles reached the final.
Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin captured the Taipei Open 2026 title after defeating Malaysia's Aaron Chia/Aaron Tai 23-21, 21-19 in the final at Taipei Arena on Sunday. The Indonesian men's doubles pair trailed 8-11 at the interval in the first game and again fell behind 8-11 in the second, but turned the match around with calmer, more patient play. The win at the BWF World Tour Super 300 event also kept Indonesia from leaving without a title. Among all Merah Putih representatives, only the men's doubles sector reached the final. For Leo/Daniel, the result also marked a comeback after several earlier first-round exits.
