Mudryk doping ban lifted after 4 years, Chelsea plans return
Chelsea has started reintegrating Mudryk into the squad and rebuilding his fitness so he can return to action.
Mykhailo Mudryk has been allowed to play again after a four-year ban over a doping case was lifted. In a post on his official Instagram account on Saturday, the Chelsea player said the process had ended and he could now look to the future. Mudryk said it had been the most difficult period of his career and stressed that from the start he had never knowingly or intentionally used a banned substance. He also thanked his family, friends, teammates and Chelsea supporters for their backing during the process. Chelsea then said the club's focus is now on helping Mudryk reintegrate into the squad, restore his fitness and get him back on the pitch.
