UN report accuses Israel of killing Gaza children deliberately

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry accused Israeli authorities and security forces of continuing to commit genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians by deliberately targeting children in Gaza. The report, released in Geneva on Tuesday, June 23, said the scale and systematic nature of Israel's military operations had caused unprecedented death, injury and trauma among Palestinian children. Commission chair Srinivasan Muralidhar said the evidence showed Palestinian children were deliberately singled out and killed. The commission also highlighted attacks on maternity and neonatal facilities and an aid blockade that worsened starvation, miscarriage, birth defects and long-term health risks.
