Taylor Swift song for Toy Story 5 breaks streaming records
Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music each logged the song’s first 24 hours as the biggest debut of 2026.
Taylor Swift’s new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You”, featured on the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, quickly set streaming records hours after its release on June 5, 2026. Republika, citing USA Today, reported that the song became the highest-streamed daily country song by a female artist in Spotify history. Apple Music also ranked it as the biggest country single of 2026 and the best first-day performing soundtrack on the platform. Amazon Music said the track recorded the largest global first 24-hour streaming debut for any release in 2026. Swift wrote the song with Jack Antonoff. She also described the project as personal because she grew up with Toy Story, while the music video features a montage of Jessie from the film franchise.
