KPK detains 4 suspects in Jasindo-Pelni insurance case
The 20-day detention runs through Aug. 19, 2026, in a case involving contracts worth Rp263 miliar and losses of Rp15,6 miliar.
KPK detained four suspects in an alleged corruption case involving commission payments for PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) ship insurance by PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) for the 2015-2020 period. They are Untung Hadi Santosa, Eko Yuni Triyanto, Yohanes Priyo Iriantono, and Zulchaibar. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the suspects will be held for an initial 20 days, from July 30 to Aug. 19, 2026, at the KPK detention facility at the Merah Putih Building in Jakarta. The case is linked to the alleged direct appointment of Jasindo as Pelni's ship insurance provider. The total contract value during the period was about Rp263 miliar. Based on a calculation by BPKP, the case is suspected to have caused state financial losses of Rp15,6 miliar.
