KPK seizes project documents from BNPB chief secretary
Investigators are also probing the status of two BNPB chief advisers, the PPK appointment, and how emergency funds reached vendors.
KPK seized procurement documents from BNPB Secretary General Rustian after questioning him as a witness on Tuesday (27/10) in a suspected corruption case involving disaster ready-to-use funds (DSP). The documents Rustian brought relate to projects handled by vendors. Investigators are focusing on two main issues: the employment status of Bima Setiawan and Richard Erlangga as advisers to the Head of BNPB, and the process for appointing the commitment-making official, as well as the procurement flow through payment to vendors. In the case, KPK has named five suspects following an OTT on 13 October 2026. KPK also suspects a conflict of interest in BNPB procurement worth Rp148 miliar in 2024-2026.
