KPK searches Bea Cukai Kudus office and PT Djarum
The search stems from a new October 2026 warrant, separate from two Bea Cukai case developments opened in July.
KPK searched the Office of Supervision and Services of Bea and Cukai Type Madya Kudus, Central Java, and the PT Djarum office on Wednesday (28/10). KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the move was part of an investigation into alleged corruption at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance under a new search warrant from October 2026. As of Wednesday afternoon, the searches were still underway and no suspect had been announced in the latest development. The original case began with a sting operation in February 2026. In the earlier case series, KPK has named, among others, Rizal, Sisprian Subiaksono, Orlando Hamonangan, Budiman Bayu Prasojo, John Field, Dedy Kurniawan, Andri, and Gatot Heroe Hernanda.
