KPK raids 15 Pemalang sites, seizes documents and CCTV
Items taken include PUPR project documents, phones, electronic files and hotel CCTV footage in Magelang.
KPK seized documents, phones, electronic files and CCTV footage after searching 15 locations on 5-8 August 2026 in an investigation into alleged extortion involving suspended Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro. The searches covered 10 homes in Pemalang, two homes in Tegal, two homes in Pekalongan and one home in Semarang. Investigators also took CCTV footage from a hotel in Magelang. According to KPK, some of the documents were related to ongoing and planned projects at the Pemalang Regency Public Works and Housing Agency, known as Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Pemalang. The case stemmed from an OTT on 28 July. On 30 July, KPK split the case into two clusters: alleged extortion by Anom Widiyantoro and his trusted aide Mohamad Haris, and alleged extortion by Setya Budi Dias together with his father, Lilik Budi Suprianto.
