KPK questions Rita Widyasari over coal gratuities in Kukar
Investigators are tracing Rita's ties to three corporations named as suspects since 19 February 2026 in the same case.
KPK questioned former Kutai Kartanegara Regent Rita Widyasari on 3 June 2026 to trace her links to three corporate suspects in a gratuities case involving coal production in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said investigators are examining allegations of gratuity payments per metric ton of coal. In the same case, KPK also questioned businessman Robert Priantono Bonosusatya and lawyer Noval Elfarveisa. The three corporations named on 19 February 2026 are PT Sinar Kumala Naga, PT Alamjaya Barapratama, and PT Bara Kumala Sakti. Rita has been a suspect since 2017 in a gratuities case and was named again in 2018 in an alleged money laundering case.
