KPK questions wife and 7 experts of suspended Kuansing regent
The BPKP Riau questioning also covered a former district secretary, a DPRD member and the council secretary to complete three suspects' files.
KPK questioned Yulia Herma, the wife of suspended Kuantan Singingi Regent Suhardiman Amby, along with seven regent experts as witnesses in an alleged bribery-for-posts and gratuity case on Friday (31/7). The questioning took place at the BPKP Riau representative office. In addition to Yulia, KPK summoned former Kuansing Regional Secretary for 2022-2024 Dedy Sambudi, Kuansing DPRD member Maulana Imam Saleh, and DPRD Secretary Andi Zulfitri. The questioning was held to complete the case files for three suspects: Suhardiman, Kuansing Regional Secretary Zulkarnain, and PT Mitra Ideal Consultant Chief Executive Ardiles. KPK suspects a sale of government posts took place within the Kuansing district administration in 2021-2026, and is also investigating alleged gratuities linked to the release of a limited production forest area.
