KPK Detains 3 Suspects in Digital SPBU Corruption, Losses Hit Rp322 Billion
BPK calculated losses of Rp193.75 billion from ATG purchases and Rp128.42 billion from EDC machines altered from specifications.
KPK detained three suspects in the alleged corruption case involving the procurement of digitalization systems for PT Pertamina (Persero) SPBU in 2018-2023, with state losses of at least Rp322.18 billion. The three are DR, WER, and Elvizar, who were held for the first 20 days from 4-23 August 2026. Acting KPK Director of Investigation Achmad Taufik Husein said the losses stemmed from procurement arrangements that created layered chains of three to five levels. BPK calculations recorded losses of Rp193.75 billion in the procurement of automatic tank gauge (ATG) and Rp128.42 billion from inflated prices for electronic data capture machines that were then altered and did not match specifications. KPK began investigating the case in September 2024.
